By installing or using the Pliant desktop application ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
The Software is licensed, not sold. Subject to your compliance with these terms and the License Agreement, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on up to three (3) devices that you own or control.
The Software may be used without a license key for a 7-day evaluation period with full functionality. After the trial expires, the Software enters read-only mode until a valid license key is activated.
All data you create in the Software is stored locally on your device and remains entirely yours. We claim no rights over your content and have no access to it.
A lifetime license includes all 1.x updates. Major future versions may be offered as separate purchases with upgrade pricing for existing holders.
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for your license. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including data loss — please use the built-in backup and export features.
This license terminates automatically if you materially breach these terms. Upon termination you must cease using the Software, though your local data remains yours to export.
We may revise these terms for future versions of the Software. The terms shipped with your installed version continue to apply to that version.
